About us (jayantidas.com)
Want to make the people who read /visit this site feel that if you are true to yourself and feelings you can make the world a better place to live with own efforts.
Objective to create the website is to access the support of all like-minded people whom I have never seen or met yet and go ahead in life which is now becoming difficult being a single housewife.
Have realized that in a society full of corruption and inaction only judiciary is the Forum which can redress the grievances and so I opted for Public Interest Litigations (PILs) on different public causes based on RTI.
Have filed PIL WP(C) 15147/2012 in Orissa High Court for forming a Middle Income Group (MIG) Legal Assistance Society( LAS) in Orissa High Court in the line of Supreme Court MIG LAS to provide legal help to MIG of Odisha. The PIL was disposed of with a direction to me as petitioner to be at liberty to take initiative to form a MIGLAS or approach the concerned Authorities for assistance.
Have contacted many authorities and also legal professionals to take initiative to form the society as per the direction of Hon’ble High Court but not received any help/assistance to form the same as it hampers their personal interest somewhere.
Taking initiative and necessary steps to make MIG aware of possible benefits of having MIGLAS in all High Courts of India and promoting SC MIGLAS in all High Courts to make MIG segment of India aware of their Fundamental Rights of living with dignity and freedom of expression of their views/opinion without any external lobby/influence.
Right to Justice is every person’s Fundamental Right and every person should gracefully get it but unfortunately it is not available gracefully now a days.
Desire to make MIG segment live a life of seagull who fly beyond the sky gracefully and it is only possible if MIG segment get justice on reasonable payment as per norms of SC MIGLAS as they have paying capacity and they should pay as a Right to get Justice.
Now a day’s state bar councils are the elected body of the advocates and there is no protection for the clients and lack of transparency in the proceedings resulting in miscarriage of justice. It acts as a deterrent for the clients to approach bar councils as the disciplinary committee members have conflict of interest as they have to appease the advocates for their precious votes for Bar Council election and simultaneously adjudicate the complaint cases against their potential vote bank. Need of the hour is appointment independent observer of disciplinary cases and installation of CCTVs to record the bar council proceedings of the complaint cases. My letter petition for installation of CCTVs to the Ministry of Law and Justice and Bar Council of India is pending with them for many years and inaction continues. There should be a Client’s Forum in all states to address the difficulties of clients in getting justice in all State Bar Councils where the client wants redressal against professional misconduct of an advocate and the forum on the line of Jury system where civil society where civil society will take active participation.
Have tried to bring little difference in the society/life of people by making complaints through letter petitions to the concerned competent authorities.
Have made complaint to Ministry of I & B and Chairman Rajya Sabha against the advertisement of a chocolate called Snicker where a Rajya Sabha lady MP and film actress was using unparliamentary sentences to promote the product. The ad was subsequently withdrawn from TV channels.
Have made complaint to Ministry of I & B related to telecast of Satyameva Jayate on Star Plus where wrong persons were making derogatory statements of striking deals as drunken journalists were highlighted and the use of national symbol of Asoka Chakra for getting authenticity for the show by a film actor. Later the telecast has withdrawn use of Asoka Chakra for commercial purpose .
Have made to Ministry of I & B against the ad of ceat tyres where promotional key words were fake sterilization of street dogs for profit and to be shared between the doctor and the minister. Later the ad was withdrawn.
Have made a complaint to Ministry of I &B related to the ad of Axe deo for using derogatory opinion and obscene motive towards Indian men where it was difficult to watch the ad with kids. Later the ad was withdrawn.
Have made complaint to Collector Cuttack a show to be conducted in Bali Yatra cultural festival where a person was to eat live chicken to attract crowd and it was immediately banned by the administration giving a press release.
Being a sensitive human being towards animals and birds I try to protect them from cruelty as much as I can. But it is difficult job to do so as the society is not ripe yet to share their well being with the voiceless good friends of ours.
Filed series of PILs to get Court’s direction to give some relief to innocent simple creatures but not fully successful.
Feeding stray animals, giving them some comfort in the form of medicine, shelter etc
Protecting them from municipality contractors who capture them illegally and abuse them.
Dream is to form /built rescue homes with basic amenities to shelter the homeless friends of ours who look forward for help as they think we can do it.
Filed petitions with Hon’ble President of India and Prime Minister and Smt Menaka Gandhi to take appropriate action in removing roadside mutton/chicken mushrooming in all residential areas, near school /college, hospital, temples and even in front of Hon’ble High Court and next to the residence of many Retired Judges and senior advocates of cuttack city, Till date no action.
Simultaneously taking out some time from the routine trying to strengthen RTI Act by applying to the authorities on public cause and based on those RTI replies file PILs as they are undebatable authentic papers.
Have a desire to see a corruption free system and for this I have realized that RTI Act and Judiciary are the only two weapons needed to be relied upon.
